Police probing double murder in Bamboo Walk, St. Mary

Two men were shot dead in Bamboo Walk near Gayle in St. Mary, last evening (December 12).

 

They have been identified as 21-year-old chef, Travan Davis also called “Datty”, and 38-year-old construction worker, Odane Edwards, also known as “sikie’, both of Bamboo Walk.

 

Police reports are that about 9:50 pm, the men were standing along the roadway across from a playing field, when men armed with handguns, alighted from a grey Toyota Probox and fired at them.

 

Davis was hit and Edwards was chased and shot.

 

On the arrival of the police, both Davis and Edwards were seen with multiple gunshot wounds.

 

They were transported to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
