The team led by President of the Jamaica Confederation of Trade Unions, Helene Davis Whyte was appointed last year, following reports of mistreatment and poor working conditions by some farm workers.

 

Noting a recent report by the team, which stated that the majority of the workers said they were being treated well, Dr. Brown Burke says more details on the findings must be presented.

 

She says several farm workers have claimed that the reports of mistreatment are valid.
