The University of Technology Academic Staff Union (UTASU) says a follow-up meeting with the Finance Ministry which was scheduled for yesterday has been postponed until next week.

The meeting is in relation to wage concerns and key issues affecting academic staff at the institution.

It follows a previous meeting with Finance Minister, Dr. Nigel Clarke, Education Minister Fayval Williams and her State Minister, Marsha Smith.

The Union said that meeting was productive, with amicable discussions on key issues affecting members.

Speaking to IRIE FM news this morning, UTASU’s Public Relations Officer, Dr. Tashieka Burris-Melville said the time of the meeting is to be confirmed.
