Flash Flood Watch discontinued for eastern and central parishes
The Met Service has discontinued the Flash Flood Watch for low-lying and flood-prone areas of St. Mary, Portland, St. Thomas, Kingston and St. Andrew, St. Catherine, Clarendon and Manchester.
This as the trough that has been producing unstable weather conditions across Jamaica over the last few days, has begun to drift west and further away from the island, and is expected to move out of the vicinity after tomorrow (October 4).
The Met Service says satellite imagery indicate that only light to moderate showers affected sections of eastern parishes this morning (October 3), with widely scattered thunderstorms across western parishes during the afternoon.
