42-year-old woman chopped to death in Bull Bay, St. Andrew

A 42-year-old woman was chopped to death, and another woman was chopped and wounded, during a domestic dispute in Bull Bay, St. Andrew, last evening (December 16).

 

The deceased has been identified as Sonia Campbell, of Vershon Gully, in Bull Bay.

 

Miss Campbell was killed at her home around  8: 30 pm.

 

Reports are that she was involved, in a dispute with her common law husband, who allegedly chopped her multiple times with a machete.

 

Another female who reportedly intervened in the dispute, also received chop wounds.

 

Police say both women were taken to hospital where Campbell was pronounced dead, and the other woman was admitted for treatment.

 

The suspect is reportedly on the run.
