The police are investigating the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy in Kingston, yesterday.

Dead is Jahkeem Deer of McIntyre Villa, Kingston 16.

Reports are that at about 4pm, Jahkeem and a relative were walking at the intersection of Norman Road and Upper Elletson Road when gunmen opened fire at them.

His relative ran and escaped unharmed.

However, Jahkeem was hit in the head and upper body.

He was pronounced dead at hospital.
