Green: this is the last week to submit feedback on draft NIDS regulations

NIDS, an electronic form of identity, is expected to provide a comprehensive and secure database for capturing and storing the personal information of citizens and non-nationals, ordinarily resident in the country.

 

Members of the Jamaican diaspora will also be able to register for the new identification card.

 

Early last month, the public was urged to give the government feedback, on draft regulations for the implementation of NIDS.
