Owner of the Treasure Beach Inn and Bar, in St. Elizabeth, Ernie Muirhead, made the call while speaking to Irie Fm news recently.

Mr. Muirhead and his wife donated a million dollars worth of equipment and medical supplies to the Black River Hospital, recently.

He noted that the donation was made after it was observed that there was a shortage of critical medical equipment at the south coast hospital.

Commenting on the widespread need for medical supplies and equipment across the country, Mr m\Muirhead urged other business people to step up and do their part.

The donation to the Black River Hospital was welcomed by Chief Executive Officer Diana Brown-Miller.
