Scores of sanitation workers attached to the National Solid Waste Management Authority, NSWMA are back on the job following a protest outside the agency’s office, on Hagley Park Road in Kingston, this morning (December 31).
The disgruntled workers had gathered outside the agency demanding payment for their services.
Speaking with Irie FM News, Executive Director of the NSWMA Audley Gordon said the protest stemmed from a misunderstanding about the payment of salaries.
He said the employees have returned to work.
