Fire fighters have reportedly indicated their willingness to accept the government’s wage offer.

President of the Jamaica Association of Local Government Officers (JALGO) Helene Davis Whyte made the revelation to Irie FM News this afternoon.

She said the decision has been communicated to the finance ministry.

Mrs. Davis Whyte said arrangements are being made for the memorandum of understanding regarding the offer to be signed, however, there are some aspects of the proposal, which require further discussions.
