There has been a gradual increase in the number of houses delivered to beneficiaries under the social housing programme.

This as the government continues to refine the system and create a proper framework, making the process more efficient and able to complete more structures, at various stages.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness noted that at the beginning phase of the programme, about 2 homes were delivered, but now up to 5 homes are delivered, at a time.

This was the case yesterday, when Mr. Holness handed over 4 homes to beneficiaries in Clarendon.

He said the programme is now operating at scale.

To date, over 240 houses have been delivered.
