Prime Minister Andrew Holness has charged the National Housing Trust (NHT) to build over 1,300 housing solutions in Kingston and St. Andrew over the next 2 years.

Speaking yesterday at the ground breaking ceremony for the Royal Estates housing development in Tivoli Gardens, Mr. Holness noted that since its inception, the NHT has constructed over 10,000 solutions in Kingston and St. Andrew.

He said many of the housing projects slated for 2025/ 2026, are already under construction. 

He said another 1,000 solutions may be added soon.
