An interim Chief Executive Officer, CEO has been appointed to the Child Protection and Family Services Agency, CPFSA.

She is Michelle McIntosh Harvey.

Prior to her appointment as interim CEO, Mrs. Harvey was the Director of Financial Management and Accounting Services at the agency.

Mrs. Harvey’s appointment comes months after former head of the agency Rosalee Gage Grey’s service was terminated.

Mrs. Gage Grey was asked to step aside, to facilitate investigations into how the agency handled its relationship, with the head of a United States charity organization who had been accused of inappropriate behaviour.

In confirming that Mrs. Harvey is the Acting Head of the CPFSA, Minister of Education and Youth, Fayval Williams noted that the Office of the Services Commission has a recruitment effort underway for a CEO.
