Normal operations resume at UWI Open Campuses
Normal operations have resumed at Open Campuses at the University of the West Indies, after upset workers received their June salary, yesterday evening.
The staff stayed off the job on Monday and yesterday, upset about the delay in payment, as well as the lack of information from management.
They are represented by the West Indies Group of University Teachers, WIGUT.
President Professor Paul Brown noted that there is concern about a possible repeat of the late payment of July’s salary and expressed hope that this will not be the case.
