Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke tabled in the Lower House today the Second Supplementary Estimates which allows for the reallocation of funding for various sections, including payments to public sector workers.

Dr. Clarke explained that the funds which were held in contingency will be transferred to the relevant heads, or government sections.

He said the estimates also allow for payment of one-off grants to some entities, including the National Water Commission.

The estimates will be perused tomorrow, at parliament’s Public Administration and Appropriations Committee which meets at midday ahead of the sitting of the Lower House at 2 p-m.
