Jamaica gears up to host (PALA) sixes tournament at Mico University

All the elements are falling into place for next week’s staging of the Pan American Lacrosse association (PALA) sixes tournament at Mico University in Kingston. 

the tournament which will be stage in the Caribbean for the first time, featuring 15 teams from 10 countries, including Dominican republic, brazil, US Virgin Island, Argentina Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru, panama lost Jamaica and Haudenosaunee the creators of the game 

Jamaica will enter two male teams and a female team for the tournament which will run from November 9 to 11. 

Vice president of the Jamaica lacrosse association Dwight Clarke is appealing for corporate Jamaica’s help  to make the tournament possible. 

” Our budget is 12 million dollars and we are not even halfway there yet, and although we have gotten help from the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) and the Sports Development Foundation (SDF) has always been there for us, so we are asking all the corporate sponsors to come onboard and help us with what should be an historic and exciting tournament.
