The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and the Faculty of Sport at the University of the West Indies have expanded their hugely successful internship programme for the 2024 tournament which bowls off in August.  

The programme entering its 8th year provides 18 places for students to study for a three-credit fully accredited sports marketing course. 

Participants will be given an internship during the tournament where they will work as part of the CPL’s marketing team.  

The 2024 edition of the cpl in the meantime, will have matches in Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, St kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago.

It’s scheduled to take place from August 29 to October 6. 

The Guyana Amazon Warriors are the current Champions.

The list of participating teams is completed by Barbados Royals, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings, Trinbago Knight Riders and new franchise Antigua & Barbuda Falcons who are replacing the defunct Jamaica Tallawahs
