A former member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force was shot and killed early this morning close to a popular nightclub on Constant Spring Road in Kingston.
He has been identified as 40-year-old Damion Coley.
A security guard was also shot and wounded in the incident.
IRIE FM news understands that the security guard was undergoing surgery at hospital.
Head of the Corporate Communications Unit of the Constabulary, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay says police are seeking to find the motive for this incident.
