Consumer confidence for the July to September period this year, increased by 4.2 per cent.
Chief Executive Officer of Market Research Services Limited, Don Anderson made the disclosure during this morning’s (October 25) third-quarter Business and Consumer Confidence Indices Webinar.
Mr. Anderson explained that the increase is attributed to several factors, including that consumers have a more positive perspective of business conditions in the country.
He explained that more consumers have a better view of jobs in the country.
Meantime, Mr. Anderson noted that business confidence grew by 18.3 per cent during the quarter.
He explained, however, that despite the positive trajectory, business confidence has not returned to pre-pandemic figures.
