The House of Representatives has approved the extension of the Zones of Special Operations (ZOSO) in seven communities across the country for another 6 months.

The motion was approved in Parliament yesterday.

The communities are Denham Town in West Kingston; Norwood and Mount Salem in St. James; Greenwich Town, Parade Gardens and August Town in St. Andrew, and Savanna-la-Mar in Westmoreland.

Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang said the communities have shown major progress.
