Assistant  Reggae  Boyz  coach John Wahl releived of Under 20 duties

The  Jamaica  Football  Federation  has  confirmed  that  Assistant  Reggae  Boyz  coach  John Wahl  has  been  relieved  of  his  duties  as  national  under  20  coach.

The  JFF says   Wahl, who led the young reggae boys through the Concacaf qualifiers in St. Kitts last month where they  topped group ‘F’ to book their place in the Concacaf Championships, has been recalled in order to allow him to concentrate on assisting coach Heimer Hallgrimsson in preparing the senior men’s national team for the numerous competitions ahead. 

This includes the Concacaf Nations League, the Copa America Championship and 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. 

Wahl  will continue as the FIFA Talent Development Scheme Manager for Jamaica .

He  has  been  replaced  by the experienced Jerome Waite who will work with the  national  under  20 team which will contest the Concacaf Championships  in  Mexico  from  July 19  to  August  4.
