No Maddz leader singer and actor Sheldon Shepherd, along with Dancehall deejays Pamputtate and Chi Ching Ching are featured in the 2023 Netflix series, Champion.

Both Chi Ching and Pamputtae appeared as themselves in episode six during a performance segment of the British TV show which tells the tale of a musical drama and shows what happens when fame collides with family. Sheldon Shepherd, who plays the role of Everald, the Jamaican father of Beres Champion, is also featured in episode six titled ‘Dat Is It’.

Champion is the first TV project for British writer and novelist Candice Carty-Williams. The eight-part series was launched worldwide on Netflix on Thursday, January 11.

Champion follows entertainer Bosco Champion and his sister Vita who steps out of her brother’s shadow to become a performer in her own right, setting the Champion siblings against one another and tearing apart the whole family in the process.
