The curfew follows yesterday’s commitment by Head of the Hanover Police, Deputy Superintendent (DSP) Andrew Nish that his officers will not relent in their efforts to deal with the crime challenges in the parish.

In an update to Prime Minister Andrew Holness, DSP Nish reported an 11 per cent reduction in the murder rate in Lucea since the start of the year but noted that more work needs to be done.
