Contract employees at the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) are expected to resume normal duties, tomorrow.
This after a back to work agreement was reached during a meeting today.
The workers had taken industrial action, reportedly because they were upset about various issues, to include compensation.
A decision to delay payment of contract workers under the compensation review had angered the workers, so they had called in sick yesterday, resulting in operations at the FLA being hampered.
Jamaica Civil Service Association (JCSA) President Techa Clarke Griffiths said talks will continue, between the union and FLA.
