Toll collection resumed today, following suspension ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Melissa on October 28.

During the suspension, barriers were lifted across-tolled highways, days before Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica. 

They remained open to allow free movement of traffic and allow persons to check on their families, businesses and properties in affected parishes. 

In an update yesterday, a release from the Toll Authority posted on the Ministry of Transport’s Instagram page said collections resumed at 12 A.M.
