The Jamaica Amateur Gymnastic Association in collaboration with Supreme Ventures limited will this weekend stage the national trials and gymnastic classic at the Jamaica School of gymnastic training center on Slipe road.
The tournament will start with action in- session 1 with all overseas based gymnasts including Tyesha Mattis who qualified for world championships and arrived in the island on Monday evening.
While the 3pm session two will see competitive levels 3 and 4 athletes in action.
Action continues on Sunday morning at 10 ‘ o clock with the competitive levels 6-10 in session three, followed by session 4 with levels 1 and 2 competitors.
The Junior will be vying for one spot at the junior world championships which will be staged in Antalya Turkey from March 25-April 3.
The seniors will be vying for 5 spots at the pan am championships in Columbia which will be a qualifier for this years pan American games and also the world championships, which this year is a qualifier for the 2024 Olympics
The seniors will also be filling 5 spots for the CAC championships for which Jamaica has already qualified.
