Jamaican born Brandon King and the Welsh-born Pakistani International Imad Wasim are the two players from the Jamaica Tallawahs outfit to make the 2023 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier league team of the tournament which ended on Sunday. 

The warriors  who won the 2023 edition were also well represented in the team of the tournament with five picks which includes:  skipper Imran Tahir, who grabbed 18 wickets; player of the tournament Shai Hope,along with opener Saim Ayub, Dwaine Pretorius, and Romario Shepherd . 

The St lucia Kings and Barbados Royals had one pick each in Alzarri Joseph and Jason Holder, respectively, while the Trinbago Knight Riders skipper Kieron Pollard and middle order batter Nicholas Pooran were also both named to the team, 

The St Kitts and Nevis Patriots were the only team not to be represented on the team of the tournament.

The team was selected by the tv commentary panel which included Ian Bishop, Daren Ganga, Samuel Badree, Carlos Brathwaite, Danny Morrison and Nikhil Uttam-chandani.
