Reggae Girlz goalkeeper Yazmeen Jamieson will now be plying her trade in France after putting pen to paper on a contract to join French second division club GPSO 92.

Jamieson who made her national senior team debut in 2018 was a member of the reggae girlz squad that qualified for the 2023 Fifa Women’s World Cup after finishing third at the Concacaf Women’s Championship in Monterrey in July.

The 24 year old earlier this year joined Canadian outfit Simcoe County rovers after signing a short-term contract with Swedish second division club P18 IK in 2021.

GPSO 92 which was founded in 1997 is one of the only French clubs to be run exclusively for women, rather than being affiliated with a men’s team 

They are currently at the foot of the standings in the French women’s second division having lost their opening 3 games to start their campaign.
