Residents blocked sections of the Comfort main road in York Town, Clarendon this morning as they protested poor road conditions.

The residents used debris, old appliances and placards to block the road as they called on Councillor Anthony Davis and Member of Parliament for Clarendon South West Lothan Cousins to address the issue.

Speaking to IRIE FM news, Councillor Davis called on citizens to give him a chance to respond to the concern.

He said he had plans to improve the condition of the roadway.

Mr Davis says Cousins has also made several attempts to tackle the issue.
