Jamaican dies after man allegedly uses car to run him over in Cayman
A 41-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the murder of a Jamaican man in Cayman on Saturday.
The dead man has been identified as Omar Ryan, of Clarendon.
According to the Royal Cayman Islands police service, Ryan was killed during a domestic dispute in north sound road, George Town shortly after 8:20 P.M.
It’s alleged that he and another man had a verbal dispute that turned physical.
Further reports are that the suspect used a motor to car to run Ryan over several times.
The police were alerted and on their arrival, Ryan was taken to the George Town hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect was later located and arrested on suspicion of murder.
