Opposition leader Mark Golding has welcomed the decision by the government, to not seek an extension of the state of emergency in st. Catherine.

He was reacting to an announcement by National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang in parliament, on Tuesday.

Mr. Golding said he is glad that the regulations are being reviewed, to make them compliant with the constitution.
