Dead is 67 year old Jerome Bassier a businessman of Mckinley Heights Mandeville, Manchester.

Reports are that about 10 A.M. Bassier was having a conversation with the other man on Decoy Road in Clarendon, when they were approached by two armed men who opened gunfire hitting them.

The police were summoned and they were both taken to hospital where Bassier was pronounced dead and the other man admitted for treatment.
