Montego-Bay has been ranked as the world’s top city in terms of post-Covid recovery.
That’s according to senior advisor and strategist in the Ministry of Tourism, Delano Seiveright, who referenced an outlook report published by the world travel market.
The report states that tourism in Montego-bay Jamaica has experienced a ‘positive growth’ of 23 per cent this summer, more than any other city on the list, ranking above Cancun, Mexico and Paris, France.
Noting that Jamaica is one of the most ‘tourism dependent’ economies in the world, Mr. Seiveright expressed delight that hotels and villas are fully booked and that business is back to the pre-Covid 2019 levels.
