Jamaican Umpire Christopher Mark Taylor  has  been  appointed  to  the  ICC International panel of Umpires.

The  appointment  became  effective  on  April  1 when Taylor  became  the most recent cricket  west  indies official to successfully complete the ICC umpire accreditation process. 

Earlier this year the 45-year-old Taylor  benefitted from valuable international exposure through the ICC Umpire Exchange Programme, officiating in Pakistan’s President’s Trophy Grade 1 competition, where his performance was rated as outstanding.

Taylor will commence the next phase of his officiating career by making his first appearance as an International Umpire during the upcoming West Indies International home season.
