On Sunday, 49 year old Suzette Thomas a housekeeper of Wildman Street in Kingston died as a result of injuries sustained when the bus in which she and 22 others were travelling crashed into an embankment.

Many of the other occupants including children were taken to hospital for treatment.

Up to Tuesday evening, five people remained in critical condition at the St. Ann’s Bay Hospital.
