Father and 6-y-o son killed in Portland crash

A father and his 6-year-old son were killed following a motor vehicle collision on the Fairy Hill main road in Portland last night.

They have been identified as 53-year-old David Woolery of Zion Hill and Jayden Woolery of Sherwood Forrest, both in Portland.

A young girl, who was also travelling with the father and son, remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Police say at about 10:18 P.M., David was driving a Grey Suzuki Swift along the roadway with the two children as passengers.

The driver of a Toyota Corolla reportedly attempted to overtake David’s vehicle, resulting in a collision.

The police were summoned and David and the two children were taken to hospital, where David
and Jayden were pronounced dead.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla has been warned for prosecution as the investigation continues.
