Checks with a major farm-store in savanna la mar in the parish, revealed, that purchases were being limited, to one bag of feed per farmer.
The limitations follow, a major shortage across the country, at the end of the year, due to global logistics-challenges, and the failure of a key piece of equipment, at Nutramix.
Speaking in an interview with Irie Fm news, president of the Jamaica Agricultural Society, Lenworth Fulton, stressed that both companies are manufacturing at full capacity.
