Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified man in a house fire in Orange Hill, Brown’s Town, St. Ann, this morning (December 4).

Reports from the Brown’s Town police are that about 4:00 AM, they were called to the scene of a house fire.

The fire department, which was already on the scene, extinguished the blaze.

During the cooling down operations, the burnt body was discovered amongst the rubble.

Investigators are now awaiting the outcome of a DNA testing to confirm the identity of the deceased man.
