The justice minister will be pushing for changes to traffic laws, that will allow for the suspension of licences, for motorists, who have unpaid traffic tickets.
Delroy Chuck noted, that several legislative changes have already been made in recent times, and that only the suspension aspect is left to be completed.
Speaking at a church service in Clarendon, at the weekend, Mr. Chuck chastised motorists, who continue to disobey the law, and rack up traffic tickets, because they can re-apply for a licence, even though the fine for a road-use-breach, remains outstanding.
He said this practice is hampering the traffic courts.
Mr. Chuck said the new road traffic act will be fully implemented in a few weeks.
