Head of the Public Safety & Traffic Enforcement Branch, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Gary Mckenzie, is once again pleading with the public to be vigilant while traversing the roadways.

He was reacting to this morning’s accident on the Bustamante highway which left one person dead and several others injured.

The deceased has been identified as James Davis.

ACP Mckenzie said the incident took place after the driver of a truck overtook another truck and collided with a coaster bus that was being driven by Davis.

He is pleading with motorists to ensure that they use good judgment when overtaking, and not to do so in unsuitable areas.
