Three people were shot, 1 fatally on the George’s Plain Main Road, in Westmoreland on Sunday morning.

Dead is 36 year old Kevin Hamilton, of Jane Marks Road, Frome in the parish.

Police reports are that at about 2:45 am, Hamilton and two other men left a nightclub located along the George’s Plain Main road.

It is reported that the men were walking home, when they were pounced upon by gunmen who opened fire hitting them.

The attackers then fled the area on a waiting motorcycle.

The police were alerted and the wounded men were taken to the hospital, where hamilton was pronounced dead.

The other men, are admitted in stable condition.
