West Indies Women wrap up T/20 series victory with 8 wicket win over Pakistan in Karachi 

The West Indies Women chasing 135 runs for victory, raced to 136 for 2 with 4 balls to spare, and were led by the consistent Hayley Matthews who smashed 78 runs off 58 inclusive of 11 fours. 

She was ably supported by Campbell who ended unbeaten on 33, with Rashada Williams’ 16 the next best in double figures . 

Matthews and Campbell stitched together 103 runs for the partnership, which primarily laid the foundation for the Windies victory. 

Earlier Pakistan sent to bat scored 134 for 8 off their allotted 20 overs, piloted by Sidra Ameen who fell two run shy of half century with 48 off 52 balls, and Muneeba Ali offering best support with 25. 

Afy Fletcher was the leading wicket taker for the ‘Windies as she snatched 3 for 17, with Quiana Joseph taking 2 for 26, and a wicket each for Aaliyah Alleyne and Hayley Matthews.
