Three men were killed in a motor vehicle crash along the northern coastal highway, in Mosquito Cove, Hanover this afternoon (June 5), after they allegedly tried to evade police officers conducting spot checks in the area.

Five other people, including four tourists, who were injured in the crash, are receiving medical treatment.

Head of the Hanover police, Superintendent Sharon Beeput told IRIE FM News, that the incident occurred at about 12: 30 PM.

Superintendent Beeput noted that two firearms were recovered from the Nissan Latio motorcar.
