Pashon Minott still pained at dad’s demise fourteen years after his passing

Fourteen years since the death of Reggae pioneer, Lincoln “Sugar” Minott, his daughter Pashon Minott says she still feels the pain of losing him.

In a heartfelt message to her father earlier today via a post on Instagram, a bereaved Pashon Minott shared a video which consisted of photos of her and her father in happier times with her dad’s 1984 version of the Jackson Five’s “Never say Goodbye” playing in the background.  

As a caption she wrote, “They say with time it will get better, but it still feels like yesterday. The pain never goes away. Today makes fourteen years since you physically left and things have never been the same, I love and miss you eternally daddy.”

Lincoln “Sugar” Minott, was known as a smooth-voiced singer and producer who helped to popularize Reggae music.  He died after suffering from a heart related condition at the University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston on Saturday July 10, 2010. He was only fifty-four years old.
