As the countdown begins for his highly anticipated Freedom Street concert, Vybz Kartel is putting in the hard work, rehearsing tirelessly.
Kartel gave fans a glimpse into his intense preparation through videos shared on several platforms. In one video the dancehall superstar is seen in full performance mode, sweating profusely as he delivered his hit single Touch a Button. According to Kartel the rehearsal session lasted 4 hours and 8 minutes.
Kartel shared another video which showed the aftermath of the grueling session, this time introducing the all-star production team which included ZJ Chrome, TJ, Moony, Sparkie Diva, Skatta and Nuffy.
Meanwhile Skatta Burrell, who is a member of the concert organizing team, reassured fans that Kartel is committed to delivering an unforgettable performance. Burrell also cautioned attendees not to become flustered or frustrated if they don’t hear their favourite or preferred Kartel song, citing the artist’s extensive catalogue cannot be performed in only 4 hours.
Freedom Street is set to be held on December 31, 2024 at the National Stadium in Kingston.
