Dancehall icon Beenie Man has moved to shut down what he describes as false, malicious and defamatory allegations made publicly by fellow entertainer Future Fambo.
The controversy erupted after Future Fambo reportedly released a video accusing the Rum & Red Bull collaborator of physically assaulting him.
In response, Beenie Man issued a strongly worded statement through his representatives, denying the allegations outright and warning that legal action is now being prepared against anyone continuing to circulate the claims.
The recent public allegations claiming that beenie man physically assaulted an artiste are false, malicious and defamatory,” the statement read.
The veteran deejay’s camp further revealed that attorneys have already been retained and evidence is currently being compiled to disprove the accusations being made online.
The statement also demanded a full public retraction and apology and the immediate removal of all social media posts, videos, stories and other publications repeating the accusations.
