CJ Milan, the promoter of reggae fest- the return of Mavado has announced the postponement of the highly anticipated event slated for December 27.
Via her Instagram story, the promotor shared that the concert, has been put on hold due to the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa on Jamaican families and communities.
Noting that it was a hard but necessary decision to make, she emphasized the need to prioritize supporting affected communities in their recovery efforts.
She also shared that all purchased tickets were refunded as of December 4 and a new date for the concert will be announced in due time.
The event would have been Mavado’s first performance on Jamaican soil in over a decade.
