Dancehall artiste Teejay just made another milestone move in his career after his widely popular hit single Drift, was licensed by Michael Johnson’s Grand Slam Track, another music win for Jamaica.

Grand Slam Track, launched in 2024, is the brainchild of four-time US Olympic Champion, Michael Johnson. The inaugural track meet will be staged at the National Stadium in Kingston from April 4-6.

Being licensed to Grand Slam Track, is the latest in a series of accomplishments for the popular single. In 2023 the song made it to three Billboard charts including the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. In May 2024 it was featured in the global hit video game series, Fortnite.

Drift has also been remixed by Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido and rapper French Montana.
