Shaggy and Friends to electrify For The Children Charity Concert in Ocho Rios

The Issa Trust Foundation is set to bring the house down at Couples Sans Souci in Ocho Rios on with the highly anticipated ‘For the Children Charity Concert’.

This year’s event promises to be unforgettable, with an all-star lineup featuring Jamaica’s own dancehall sensation Shaggy as the headliner, alongside Lila Ike and  Voicebox.

The concert, now in its 20th year, has seen performances from the likes of Michael Bolton, Air Supply, and Third World.

The event, which was launched earlier today at Couples Sans Souci, saw Chairman of the Issa Foundation, Paul Issa encouraging patrons to support noting that the concert is more than just a night of music it’s about giving back to our community as all proceeds from the event will go towards building the Mary Issa Paediatric and Adolescent Health Centre in Richmond, St Ann.

Meanwhile General Manager at Couples Sans Souci Pierre Battaglia said the event has been an incredible success

He said there will be two distinguished packages offered to patrons and changes were made to alleviate the backlog of traffic in the area.

The concert will be held on the lawns of Couples San Souci on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
