The St. Andrew South Police say the male victim in this morning’s double murder in Seaview Gardens was known to the police.

Fabion Edwards and a woman were shot and killed along Pacific Boulevard in the area this morning.

Speaking with IRIE FM News, Commanding Officer, Superintendent Damion Manderson said residents heard explosions and alerted the police.

Superintendent Manderson explained that when lawmen arrived at the scene they realized Edwards was one of the deceased.

He said a chrome semi-automatic pistol with eleven rounds of ammunition was uncovered at the scene.

He added that the police are pursuing several leads, and are appealing to residents to tell lawmen what they know about this or any other crime.
