Shericka Jackson set to compete at Wanda Diamond League in London on July 23
Reigning world 200 meter champion Shericka Jackson is set to compete at the 10th stop on the Wanda Diamond League Circuit in London on July 23.
Jackson joins the already announced Dina Asher-Smith in the women’s 100 metres in what is expected to be the main highlight of the meet.
She began the season with a then world leading 10.82 second clocking at velocity fest 13 at the National stadium in April and recently posted 10.85 seconds to finish second behind American Sha’carri Richardson at the Diamond League season opener in Doha on May 5.
Other prominent names to feature in London include two-time world 110 metre hurdles champion Grant Holloway, two-time Olympic discus champion Ryan Crouser, European Indoor long jump champion Jazmin Sawyers and the reigning Olympic and world high jump champion Mutaz Barshim.
